Dr. Talab successfully completed his Anesthesia residency training at University of Toronto, followed by his fellowship training in Vascular Anesthesia, Thoracic Anesthesia, & Perioperative Echocardiography at the University of Ottawa. His extensive training at both the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa underscore his dedication to specialization and expertise in his field.

Dr. Talab is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and the American Society of Echocardiography, and is recognized as an Anesthesia mentor for The American Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Talab is currently an assistant professor of Anesthesiology at University of Ottawa with special interest in teaching and medical education. These accolades reflect Dr. Talab’s standing in the medical community, and highlights his proficiency and contributions to his specialty.

In 2017, Dr. Talab began to explore new avenues within his field to serve a broader range of patients’ needs. He started providing anesthesia at multiple outpatient facilities in Ottawa for an array of dental procedures in both adult and pediatric patients.
